Food Bank Donation

Contego Recently Donated £150 to St Pauls Centre Food Bank Spennymoor.

Three of our Contego technicians Chris Lownds, Kristian Glasper and Chris Smith play for a local football team call Spennymoor Voltiguer. Recently the team had decided that they wanted to give back to the community during these difficult times. The team decided that the best way to do this was to do a food drive amongst friends and family. The team managed to collect £150 worth of food and donated this to their local food bank at St Paul Centre, Spennymoor.

When Contego's CEO Michael Taylor heard about the efforts of the team, he donated a further £150, matching the original amount raised by the football team and spent the morning in Lidl with Chris L, Kristian and Chris S to buy food and donated this to the St Paul Centre Food Bank in Spennymoor as part of Contego's pledge to make a difference campaign.

Contego is always looking at ways to help out in the community and support their Contego Heroes in their fundraising efforts. The Contego Pledge to Make a Difference was created in 2020 and aims to help employees with their fundraising efforts by sharing their story and matching they fundraising amounts.
