The Great British Spring Clean is Back!

The Great British Spring Clean is back for its seventh year. The event, which runs between the 25th March – 10th April, brings together individuals, community groups, businesses, and schools across the nation to tidy up our public spaces, beaches, and beauty spots. This year, the campaign’s focus was on the #BigBagChallenge and Keep Britain Tidy asked us all to pick up as much litter as we can. In total 447,712 bags have been pledged.

Why Keep Our Public Spaces Clean?

Litter not only looks awful, it harms wildlife, pollutes the environment, and is a risk to health. It also costs local authorities millions of pounds to clear up. Money that could be far better spent elsewhere.
