Celebrating Our Staff’s Triumphant Triathlon for Macmillan Cancer Support! 

Contego are proud to back another worthy cause, from another of our fantastic Contego Heroes.  

On the 22nd July 2023, Contego Hero and Pest Risk Manager Tom Atkinson completed his first triathlon in support of Macmillan Cancer Support…  

With unwavering determination and an invincible spirit, Tom conquered the gruelling triathlon, crossing the finish line with a sense of accomplishment and pride. The triathlon’s combination of swimming, cycling, and running tested Tom’s physical and mental strength, and their dedication throughout the training paid off magnificently. 

From the very beginning, Tom embarked on this journey to support Macmillan Cancer Support, a charity close to his heart and to ours. This incredible organization provides vital support to individuals and families affected by cancer, offering not just practical assistance but also emotional and financial aid during their most challenging times. 

We are humbled and grateful to announce that, thanks to the support and contributions of our generous community, the funds raised by Tom’s triathlon efforts have been magnified through our Contego Pledge. Every pound donated will be matched by Contego, doubling the impact of the contributions, and ensuring that Macmillan Cancer Support receives the maximum benefit.
