As we continue to expand, we’re looking for a Service Planner / Scheduler to take charge of planning and coordinating our pest control services within a dedicated region of the UK. If you have experience in scheduling Planned and Preventative Maintenance and enjoy keeping things more organised behind the scenes, this could be the ideal role for you.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Managing and allocating technician workloads across your assigned area to ensure efficient and effective service delivery.
  • Maintaining the daily planning schedule, keeping it up to date and communicating any changes to operational managers.
  • Using our internal system (JobWatch) to oversee technician diaries, route planning, and monitor performance metrics.
  • Scheduling PPM, reactive, and quoted work, making sure appointments align with client SLAs and technician capabilities.
  • Reviewing visit notes and ensuring any follow-up actions or remedial work are communicated and logged properly.
  • Supporting consistent resource coverage by proactively adjusting plans based on business demands.
  • Reporting on performance trends and identifying causes of unproductive time.
  • Collaborating with operations managers during weekly meetings to identify planning improvements.
  • Handling inbound calls and managing CRM entries with accuracy and professionalism.

What We’re Looking For:

  • A strong understanding of UK geography (Yes—you’ll need to know Scarborough from Southend!)
  • A positive, team-oriented attitude. We’re a fun, fast-paced employer that supports and challenges our people to succeed.
  • Ideally, you’ll bring experience from a similar scheduling or planning role in a commercial setting.
  • Proficiency in CRM systems, Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint is essential.

37.5 hours per week - Monday to Sunday

Location

Based at our Head Office, Newton Aycliffe, County Durham.

Candidate must be able to organise own transport arrangements to site.
