Asda approached Contego to handle a large re-development of one of their stores.

LOCATION

Contego’s east national team was assigned to a store to handle bird proofing tasks.

THE PROBLEM

Asda is renowned for its large canopies that cover the main entrance of its stores, these canopies are an ideal nesting location for seagulls, gulls and other types of bird.

THE SOLUTION

Contego’s team began the project by removing any old netting across the location. Once this had been completed, we proceeded to install 19 mm netting across a 1500SQM area. The job had been completed in time ready for the store hand over in July 2016.
