Meet The Team

Paul joined Contego as Operations Manager in 2013 and his since taken over as Fleet and Compliance Manager. Although he was to the Pest Control Industry, Paul has embraced the new challenge he set himself by choosing to move away from the waste industry and has since passed his RSPH Level 2 Award in the Safe Use of Rodenticides, further strengthening his pest control knowledge and skills.

Kirsty is the Business Support and Finance Manager at Contego. Her role involves overseeing the business support team and assisting the MD in his role. She is continuously working to refine and review our internal processes to ensure we can deliver the best service possible. She has two children, and she works flexibly so she can enjoy family life. Kirsty is also a volunteer 'Campaigns Ambassador' for Cancer Research

Ellie is our Business Support Administrator who joined the business in early 2018. She is progressing quickly with customer service and learning Contego’s systems after completing her apprenticeship She knows she has made the right choice: “I’m really happy to have been given the opportunity at Contego to begin my working career with the apprenticeship and I’m learning a lot each day. “

Danielle has many years of administration experience. She enjoys meeting new people, which is vital in her role as she now conducts new starter inductions. In her spare time she is usually listening to Oasis.

Chris joined Contego in 2017, bringing 8 years of pest control experience with him, with a further 6 years working in the retail environment beforehand. He joined the management team in January 2021 as our account manager. “Contego is growing company and we already work alongside a huge variety of clients, bringing different challenges. My aim is to ensure these challenges are dealt with quickly and professionally."

Roisin is our Social Media and Marketing Assistant. She joined the team in July 2022. She is responsible for creating our social media content and video creation. She has a passion for media as well as adding Eurovision songs into the office playlists.

Clare brings a varied and extensive experience to her role as Group Accounts Assistant. Over the years, she's worked in the waste & chemical industry, as well as a travel agent, but she's now helping Contego to fly high instead, on our continued upwards trajectory.

Lee is the Operations Manager for the North East & Scotland. His role is to manage the service delivery technicians within this area and support them to deliver the excellent customer experience our business partners expect. He has been in the industry for 15 years and has been with Contego since September 2021 - problem solving is what makes this the best industry to work in!

Aleksandra joined Contego in early 2022 and is responsible for scheduling technicians’ work in North West and Midlands areas. Also as part of the customer service team, she deals with queries from new and existing customers.

Rob is our Sales Director, he is responsible for the sales function within the business. He has been in the industry for over 20 years and has significant experience with a multitude of blue chip organisations. In his spare time he likes to stay active on his mountain bike and support his local football team.

Luciano started his career in the pest control industry at a very young age, where he was controlling rabbits & rats with the use of ferrets, traps and terriers. He then progressed onto corporate pest management dealing with many blue-chip customers on a national scale. Luciano then became a field biologist, before moving into his role in technical sales, as an Operations Manager at Contego... quite the journey!

After 32 years in the manufacturing industry and working my way up the ladder from being the office junior to the sales office manager, I was made redundant in 2014. After my redundancy, I took a position working as a Finance Officer for a charity in the care industry. I then decided I wanted to get back into a sales office environment and I wanted a new challenge, so I joined Contego in May 2016.

Laura joined Contego in early 2017. She wanted to get back into an administrative role after working in sales and support roles for a number of years. At Contego, Laura works with area managers across the country, assisting them with scheduling and daily management and support.

Shane is the brains behind the brains at Contego, As Training & Technical Manager, ensuring all our national team of technicians are trained to the highest standards. Shane brings a wealth of experience to his role as Training & Technical Manager, having previously worked as a Senior Service Manager, and Regional Service Manager, which he is able to pass on through training to a new generation of technicians.

Shane is our Northern Operations manager! With a military background and extensive pest control experience, Shane is a wealth of knowledge. "My specialist skills are my organisational skills and in terms of the job, I was a technician myself before I became a manager, so I like to be hands on. '

John has over 37 years of pest control industry knowledge of pricing, selling & implementing national contracts including Suez Waste, DPD, Wiltshire Farm Foods, Leonard Cheshire, Priory Healthcare, Wilko, One Stop, Holland & Barrett, Café Nero and Shell. His industry experience has helped to bring tremendous and continued success to Contego, proving himself time and time again an invaluable member of the team.

Kalon is our resident Web and Software Development Lead. All of the amazing changes that keep happening on the website and the development of our dashboards behind the scenes are thanks to Kalon.

Ellie is the Marketing Coordinator at Contego, she joined early 2022 and is responsible for our marketing and communications strategy, as well as all the exciting campaigns and content we share. She is passionate about all things marketing and continually champions Contego's brand.

Sean is a business development manager at Contego, responsible for developing accounts and surveying sites throughout the central region and down deep into the southwest of the country. Approaching 18 years in the industry, critical responsibilities within the role are identifying new customers, surveying contracts and job work for new and existing clients alike, and completing tenders within the region.
